Akkeshi Single Malt Whisky KANRO (寒露)

The Akkeshi Kanro is the first release in the distillery’s new “24 Solar Terms” lineup.
 
24 solar terms are the names that represent the seasons by dividing the year into 24 equal parts, such as the beginning of spring and the summer solstice. Kanro is "17" of 24 solar terms.
 
A peated malt whisky that was matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry, mizunara and wine casks.
 
Tasting Note:
A: A profound scent with a sweet atmosphere like dried fruits
P: Strawberry, orange, apple, cereal aroma with lemon acidity and milky sweetness
F: White pepper-like spicy, chocolate-like sweetness continues
