This bourbon barrel was released as a collaborative bottle for the Hong Kong and Macau markets by AF Trade Shop in Hong Kong and Anthelope Whisky Shop in Macau.
We thought the uniquely Shindo distillery's special yeast-derived sweet, heavy, milky, fruity, and fatty aroma from lactones, and filled the barrel in May 2022 during the early days of Shindo Distillery's founding.
After three and a half years of maturation, this marks the first edition for Asia. We judged the spirit quality sufficient to convey the philosophy of Shindo Distillery—embodying a new path—to Asia, leading to this release.We selected this non-peated bourbon, cask strength, the most orthodox style, as the first cask we release for the Asian market.
Tasting Notes:
Nosing burst with the vibrant, fruity elegance of banana and melon.
Palate gently unfold with a milky, rich aroma reminiscent of custard, along with a vanilla-like, woody maturity, gradually enveloping you in the blissful lingering notes of milk caramel.
