
This is the 19th edition of Akkeshi’s “Solar Term Series”.
The clear blue skies of early summer are a season when the iris flowers on the shores of lake Akkeshi are particularly striking.The peatiness unique to Akkeshi malt has developed a Japanese citrus aroma with age.The key malt for this release is made from Hokkaido-grown malt and mizunara barrels.

Aroma:
Seasonal peaches, apricots, mandarin oranges, and kinako mochi topped with black honey
Taste:
Chocolate and orange confit
Aftertaste:
Black pepper, Hyuganatsu(日向夏), and a stroll along the beach
