Akkeshi Whiskey SARORUNKAMUY will be the first single malt whisky at Akkeshi Distillery (matured over 3 years). Salorun Kamui means "red-crowned crane" in Ainu language and means "god in the wetlands".
This was distilled in 2016, the first year of operation, then matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry, red wine, and mizunara casks.

P: The top flavor has a strong strawberry and chocolate element, with flavors of brown sugar, marmalade, soy sauce, and butter toast.
