Togouchi Japanese Blended Whisky Beer Cask Finish

This limited Togouchi whisky was finished in special beer casks. Oak barrels intially were used for rum aging in the French-owned island of Martiniquein in the Caribbean for 10 years, followed by aging IPA beer in France.

Tasting Note:
In addition to the refreshing hops aroma and bitterness derived from IPA beer and the honey aroma derived from the rum, the sweetness of roasted apples derived from wood finish is added, and the sweetness and bitterness are combined with the aroma of aged sweet fruits.
